Schomburg, Arturo Alfonso

En el curso Introducción a la Radio y Televisión, surge entre los estudiantes la idea errónea de la poca imaginación para la creación que tiene nuestra sociedad puertorriquena. Por tanto su maestro invitó a sus estudiantes a buscar información del ensayista, investigador y coleccionista Arturo Alfonso Schomburg. Para mi sorpresa fue bibliotecario de la Universidad de Fisk en Nashville, Tenenessee. En nuestra biblioteca el Tomo 6 de la Gran Enciclopedia de Puerto Rico, de la Editorial Caribe Grolier tiene una entrada dedicada a Schomburg. A continuación les incluyo enlaces de su biografía y obra.
