Eduapps: 90 programas gratuitos para maestros y estudiantes en un USB
Stephen Downes en su blog hace referencia a EduApps: un proyecto que le permite a estudiantes y maestros crear un paquete de programas portátiles (hay disponibles unos 90 programas) con aplicaciones educativas.
The apps are bunched together into easy-to-understand generic categories (like presentation, planning, office, and multimedia tools). They are accompanied by guides, onscreen tutorials and backed up by online support, seeded by Craig and his colleagues but propagated and extended by the larger user community. When learners want to take a break, there are even a few games thrown into the mix.
Lo que necesitamos es un USB para tener disponbiles en todo momento programas esenciales como Open Office, FireFox, Thunderbird, Audacity, entre muchos otros. Así que si estamos pensando en un buen regalo para un estudiante que comienza sus estudios universitarios puedes comprar el USB, instalar las aplicaciones y regalar esta joya.
